Interracial Dating

There was an article in the Huffington Post about the Democracy Alliance in South Africa.  Apparently,
their ad about interracial dating is causing a store.  It is a startling visual.

The couple is attractive and the ad says that the day will come when we do not have to look twice.

I think the day should come when we know our ethnic histories.  I have been reading some interesting
material that I will recommend to you.

"The History of White People" by Nell Irvin Painter.  She is currently the Edwards Professor of American History, Ermerita at Princeton University.  She says that the our search for the history of white people
must begin in the misty mixture of myth and reality that comprises ancient Greek literature.

In further research I find that their culture/civilization is relatively young compared to black African
civilization.  In this picture I see the new embracing the old.  Much to learn from either side.

Could the fears be that white races are recessive.  Meaning the the black genes dominate.  Melanin, a good thing, reigns supreme.  Research the benefits of Melanin.  Then one could ask how could a black person have love for a white person when they have been treated so badly all over the world.  Have we been missing and destroying a true gift in the world?

The other book I would like to recommend is, Nature Knows No Color-Line" by J.A. Roberts.  No longer alive, he did extensive research on ancient blacks in Africa and Europe.  He was elected to the Paris Society.

I continue my research and chose to consider the strengths and weakness of both cultures.  And where
there is love - there is infinite great possibilities.
